We were asked to make a stainless flag holder for the Time & Tide museum in Great Yarmouth. Complications include the need to run all the halyards inside the mast, and devising a cunning scheme to raise and lower the flag. The cloth part is 5 metres (about 16 feet) long  
Now we didn't make the flamingos, but we did make the legs, which was incredibly fiddly with compound angles to worry about
Making a bronze frame for a sculpture would seem easy - apart from the fact we had to make it with a certain pre-bend to cope with its own self-weight.
A Gnomon for a sundial, made precisely to the latitude of Carnforth.
